The Sevenoaks Chamber of Commerce has worked closely with Swanley Town Council to develop a bi-monthly business networking group. These meetings take place on the 3rd Wednesday (Jan, Mar, May, July, September and November) from 10.30 – 12.00 at different locations in and around Swanley, showcasing some of Swanley’s best business venues. The community is still emerging and growing each month and we organised our first successful business expo in 2018. The diverse range of businesses in the town and rural areas provide an interesting mix of businesses providing lots of opportunity for businesses to connect.

MARK PERKINS – SWANLEY AMBASSADOR

Following a successful career in the entertainment industry working for retailers such as Virgin, Our Price and WHSmith, Mark moved into the world of IT sales with Computacenter. This then lead to a career at ebay Europe heading up the EU Sales Operations Team, which involved creating a new sales function across Europe and North America.

In 2010 Mark started his own business focusing on offline marketing, market research and mystery customer programmes. This business is now based in Swanley employing 6 permanent staff plus a number of expert researchers and remote workers across South East London and Kent.

Mark has been a member of the Sevenoaks & District Chamber since the launch of networking meetings in Swanley and acts as the ambassador for the Swanley area.
