Over 65 members and guests joined us for networking in the beautiful gardens at the historic Red House offices of Knocker & Foskett. Knocker & Foskett are one of the longest established Kent solicitors and the largest law firm in Sevenoaks, providing first class legal advice since 1730. Their philosophy is to offer “City quality” advice delivered in plain English without the associated “City cost”.

Barry Landa gave a quick insight into the history of the firm and the strong Jane Austen connection and introduced their new senior partner Chris Hugo.

Nicola Gibbs talked briefly about working with clients with matrimonial issues and also explained that Knocker & Foskett are now working with the local CAB office to give their advice back to the community for free. Nicola can be contacted on ng@knocker-foskett.co.uk

Finian Davern senior solicitor has recently completed his training to become a notary public with the firm and shared with everyone present what services he can now offer to local businesses. Finian can be contacted on on fd@nocker-foskett.co.uk

The proceeds of the business card draw raised £90.00 towards our charities of the year fund. Congratulations to Rebecca Boys from Wilkins Kennedy who won a bottle of Squerryes exclusive vintage donated by Knockers.

We look forward to seeing you all again at our next 1st Wednesday which will be on August 7th at The Vine Cricket Pavilion.
