Westerham Town Council is organizing a second Memory Walk starting on Westerham Green on Saturday 18th May at 11am. Last year over 150 people joined the walk. Each participant will be given a tote bag and for just £25 businesses/retailers are invited to add any promotional leaflets or giveaway to the bags. Please contact me if you would like any further details.

Dementia is a growing problem in society and it is important to raise awareness of this within our community. Dementia is one of the leading causes of death in the UK, but this event gives everyone the opportunity to not only improve their own health, but also raise money for people affected by the disease. Working together we can better meet the needs of people with dementia so everyone can live well within their communities.

We will be giving the option of either a short walk around The Green for our less able residents or a walk of approximately 2k walk around King Georges Playing Field. This will not be a sponsored event but we will have collection buckets available. The proceeds will be split between for the Forget-me-not Café in Westerham and Sevenoaks Area Dementia Friendly Community Forum.

Thank you.
