As we enter the new financial year, we are looking forward to some significant developments for the Chamber, as well as a change of leadership. We wanted to share with you our Roadmap for the next year, as we continue to adapt and support our members through the recovery of the Pandemic. We have been very fortunate in the last year that you, our members have been extremely supportive, and we have experienced a level of collaboration and support between members like never before and for that we thank you all!
With some uncertainty still remaining for business, we have decided to freeze our membership rates for a further year. We hope this will enable our members to continue to enjoy the benefits of being part of the Chamber community. Our fees will be reviewed in January 2022, and we hope this gives our businesses time to recover and be clearer on their financial path.
With a change of Leadership, we are delighted to announce that a new CEO has been appointed and will be joining in July. Watch this space for an announcement soon but we are very confident that our new leader will continue to help the Chamber thrive, grow, and support our members. We are thankful to Julie Phillips CEO and Nick Brooker Chair for their excellent contribution and for helping the Chamber reach the success we enjoy today. We wish Julie and Nick well and look forward to welcoming the new CEO.
Katrina Walker has now taken the helm as Chair supported by the current board, Sharon Field, FM Conway – Sandhya Iyer, The HR Dept – Paul Baker, Wealden Properties – Andrew Raby, Thackray Williams and Gareth Walters, WPA Healthcare. Kathryn McKerlie will continue to be the main contact for members and will be supported by the Board.
Thank you for your valued support we look forward to working with you for the coming year!
