If you’re looking for an away day or summer social this year, we’d love to welcome you to join us here The Mount Vineyard in Shoreham, just down the road from Sevenoaks.
With easy access by train, we’re a lovely 10 minute stroll from Shoreham Station – which is just 9 mins from Sevenoaks and 25 minutes from London for any colleagues coming from that direction also, we are convenient and quick to get to – yet welcome you to an oasis of tranquillity with exclusive hire of our Oak Terrace.
We offer Wednesday or Thursday hire for a fabulous afternoon here in beautiful Shoreham, with private use from 12-5pm on our Oak Terrace for our corporate guests. This is located to the North West of the main Courtyard Bar & Restaurant within our Orchard and features retractable sides and roof for you to enjoy the sunshine, should it be on form that day!
We’ll greet you all with a glass of fizz on arrival before settling down for a wine tasting, accompanied by light cheese & crackers and hosted by our Head of Wine. You’ll head out for a guided stroll amongst the vines with your last glass, before returning to the Oak Terrace for a sharing lunch of stone baked pizzas and exotic salads!
Enjoy more wine (ours, or perhaps a Provencal rose), aperols, espresso martinis – or coffees for the rest of the afternoon in your exclusive space!
If you would like to continue to enjoy the day after 5pm, you can either move to our Pond Garden or we can book you a table for relaxed fine dining at our sister establishment ~ The Samuel Palmer, which is a 5 minute walk from us ~ or an area for further drinks there also (The Samuel Palmer | English pub & Restaurant hidden away in the Kentish countryside).
We can of course be flexible to your vision and requirements, but propose the following itinerary for an afternoon with us (please do also enquire about full day hire if you would like to include meeting time also):
12.00pm ~ Guest arrivals greeted by a glass of fizz
12.20pm ~ Wine Tasting with light cheese & crackers
1.30pm ~ Guided stroll through the vines with last glass
2.15pm ~ Sharing lunch and drinks of your choice
5.00pm ~ Carriages or move to the Pond garden here or to The Samuel Palmer to continue to enjoy the day!
There is a venue hire fee of £295 and a minimum spend of £1,700 in addition (plus 12.5% service charge). We can welcome up to 48 guests for this type of event, but it works equally well for a group of 12 or above.
As mentioned, we are fantastically located for guests to access us with ease from London and further afield. We have free on site parking and are just 15 minutes from junction 3 of the M25. Or by train, we’re just 25 minutes from London Bridge. It’s a 10 minute stroll from Shoreham (Kent) station to us down a field of wheat, so a lovely way to approach the afternoon!
