Eat, drink, and be entertained in the beautiful 11-acre setting of Reuthes-the Lost Gardens of Sevenoaks

Reuthe’s–the Lost Gardens of Sevenoaks is pleased to launch it’s inaugural Harvest Feastival that celebrates the bounty Autumn brings to our tables and showcases local food producers in the close-knit West Kent area.

Freddie Southwell of Wild Seasoning Catering will be offering innovative fusion bowl food that combines the flavours of Asia with local Kent produce and wild food foraged from the woodland paradise of Reuthes.

There will be local food & artisan producers on hand to showcase their produce around the Autumnal theme.

In addition, the Lost Gardens cuddly alpacas Nuzzle and Scratch will be on hand to provide interactive treks for visitors throughout the 11-acre woodland bursting with vibrant autumnal colours.

“We are delighted to welcome visitors to our first Harvest Feastival – a celebration of the abundant produce from this glorious season in the Garden of England. After the year that small businesses have suffered due to the pandemic shutdown we felt it was important to draw that part of 2020 to a close and to celebrate the resilience of Kent’s food producers.”

Wilderness Asian inspired Bowl food

BBQ (pine smoked) Vietnamese south coast mackerel, wild forage herb salad, Reuthe’s kousa fruit chilli jam with crispy shallots & garlic
Malay grilled chart farm venison, local Reuthe’s chestnut & peanut sate sauce with a autumnal spiced pickled vegetables & pineapple salad
Chiang Mai inspired wild boar sausage & Reuthe’s roasted quince jungle curry with coconut braised jasmine rice & lotus root crisps
Korean bbq king oyster mushroom croquettes with cucumber kimchi & siracha mayo

Pudding 

Chilli & smoked salt chocolate brownie, a crab apple & kumquot purée with vanilla bean ice cream

Kids

served with coconut rice and lightly pickled vegetables & juice or ice lolly
Malay grilled chicken skewers with a peanut coconut sauce OR Chaing Mai spiced sausage balls with tamarind ketchup
