‘Move for Mental Health’ – 14th May 2024.

We would be thrilled to invite you to a Finance Hub networking event with a twist. For Mental Health Awareness Week, in partnership with West Kent MindThe Finance Hub challenges you to ramp up those steps, swap a sit-down meeting for a walk, and talk in aid of 2024’s theme ‘Move for Mental Health’.  

As well as giving you the chance to promote good mental health by being active, we’re asking for your help to support our chosen charity, West Kent Mind, this Mental Health Awareness Week. Bring a donation on the day (suggested amount £5) or visit our JustGiving page click here. Just £5 could pay for one of the dedicated teams at West Kent Mind to answer the phone and support someone who is facing a mental health challenge. All your donations will help them continue to provide their vital mental health support services in our community. 

Tuesday 14th May; The ‘Did you know’ walk? Plus, an exclusive opening for you into an award-winning secret garden

Take a leisurely walk through the historic Pantiles, which played a significant role in Tunbridge Wells’ history thanks to the Chalybeate Spring. Along the route, you’ll come across plaques commemorating fourteen notable figures from the town’s past. Finish off your stroll with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine at the exclusive ‘Finance Hub’, amidst the charming surroundings of an award-winning town centre garden. This ancient walled garden features herbaceous borders and abundant rose bushes arranged across three tiers of lawn. Our route skirts the edges of the common before circling back to The Finance Hub. This will be a 1-hour walk, including a stop at the open garden.

Please arrive at 4.00 PM for refreshments. The group will be leaving at 4.20 PM.

Arrive back at The Finance Hub at 5.20 PM latest.

Level of difficulty: An incline up Mount Sion – this is Tunbridge Wells and you are met with a glass of bubbly at the top of this hill!
