After embarking on a training contract at CooperBurnett LLP in Tunbridge Wells 18 months ago, Imogen Fleur is now officially a qualified solicitor and continuing her career within the firm’s Commercial Property team.
Having initially been based within the Corporate and Commercial team, and then gaining experience in the Property Litigation and Family teams, Imogen really found her niche in Commercial Property.
“I like that the work relates to bricks and mortar which you can see, rather than abstract concepts,” she explains. “I’ve also enjoyed working with business owners and building a rapport with landlords, who return to us regularly for support.”
Imogen completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC)/Master of Laws (LLM) at BPP Cambridge in September 2021, having graduated from the University in Essex with a first-class degree in law.
Since joining CooperBurnett as a paralegal in January 2022, Imogen has thrown herself into the local business community. She is the current President of the Kent Junior Lawyers Division (JLD) and works hard to support junior and aspiring lawyers across the county.
“We are absolutely delighted that Imogen’s New Year started with the official news that she’s now a qualified solicitor,”
says Partner Victoria Sampson.
“We are thrilled that she’s staying with TeamCB to continue her career with us. Imogen is brimming with enthusiasm and expertise, and we are sure she’ll make a fantastic solicitor.”
