Every year we aim to hold a Careers Fair to give our students an insight into a broad spectrum of future career pathways. This academic year, the Careers Fair will take place on Thursday 9th February 2023. We would like to tap into a huge variety of professions and would love to hear from you, our community of parents, Old Sennockians, and friends.
Meeting you could inspire a young person or open their eyes to possibilities they had not considered before. If you are a writer, an entrepreneur, an anaesthetist, an IT specialist, a GP, a lawyer, a scientist, a vet, a surgeon, an artist, an historian, a graphic designer, an investment banker, an interpreter, an engineer, an accountant, an actor or you work in e-commerce, in advertising, in marketing, in recruitment, in television or in the public sector; in fact, in any career… please get in touch.
In order to broaden our range of career representations, we are particularly in search of those employed in the media and arts sectors, architecture, scientific research, and technology.
It is a friendly and informal evening being run in the School’s Science & Technology and Global Study Centres. There will be a brief reception from 1830 with refreshments, which in the past has been a great opportunity to catch up with old school friends and staff. Following that, the students will arrive to consult you at your tables from 1930 to 2100.
If you are able to take part, please fill out the short form here – if you are not able to attend but you would still be willing to offer advice to students, then there is an option for that on the form.
