Community Collaboration: Sevenoaks Chamber of Commerce Meeting Sponsored by Jackson Fire & Security

The recent meeting of the Sevenoaks Chamber of Commerce, held at Salters Heath Business Park and sponsored by Jackson Fire & Security, proved to be an enjoyable morning of networking and collaboration.

Attended by approximately 50 business professionals from Sevenoaks and the surrounding area, the event provided a valuable platform for local businesses to connect and engage.

The meeting commenced with introductions from esteemed speakers, including Paul Baker, the new chair of the Sevenoaks Chamber of Commerce representing Wealden Properties (Sevenoaks) Ltd. Paul led thanks to previous Chair Katrina Walker and gave us an insight into his new role and how he hoped to look after things as well as Katrina had.

Additionally, Sue Green, owner of the Montreal Estate encompassing Salters Heath Business Park, talked about the history of Salters Heath and its recent development into workspace. Sue also talked about Montreal Estate’s commitment to the environment and local business and talked about neighbouring Penn Farm’s new event and meeting spaces.

A highlight of the meeting was the address by Sam Bradley of Jackson Fire & Security, who emphasised the company’s commitment to supporting local initiatives and giving back to the community. The event also featured a business card draw, with proceeds earmarked for local charities in the Kent area.
