Have you been taking advantage of the many opportunities to learn which have crossed our computer screens recently? There have certainly been some days when we have felt quite Zoomed out! You can take your pick from a whole dessert trolley of tempting offerings: specialist information for your profession / business coaching / wellbeing and mindfulness / keep fit routines … Well, we would like to offer you a few more options.
As you may know, Computer Troubleshooters is a member of BNI (Business Networking International) referral marketing organisation. At present the groups are meeting online via Zoom and reaching out to the local business community to help and support each other. Visitors are welcome, there’s no charge to attend and all attendees – both members and visitors – get 1 minute to introduce their business and request specific referrals.
You would be welcome to visit provided your profession does not clash with the membership. Check out the chapters – Steve’s group is BNI Excelsior and Suzanne’s group is BNI Sevenoaks. If you are interested, let us know and we will arrange a link for you.
Computer Troubleshooters is also a member of Sevenoaks Chamber of Commerce. We are missing the camaraderie of the First Wednesday get-togethers but fortunately the Chamber has pivoted its activities and is offering a variety of meetups, workshops and webinars which are open to non-members. These include the rare opportunity to learn about social media from Zoe Cairns.
We couldn’t miss out on the action, so Sevenoaks Chamber is kindly offering you the chance to see our own Suzanne Rice discussing IT in the “New Normal”: book your seat here!
We hope you are managing to escape from your computers occasionally during this period of house arrest. Don’t suffer in silence with your IT; if you have an issue, remember Computer Troubleshooters is here to help, and always ready to have a chat and not to give you a lecture!
Stay safe!
