On Friday 24th May Leverets are holding a sponsored sleepout in Sevenoaks at Walthamstow Hall Senior School, alongside Savills, to raise awareness & vital funds for our charity partner Porchlight. Porchlight were recently recruiting for a worker for the Sevenoaks district. Homelessness happens here, it’s just hidden. Since we started the planning for this event, we have heard that Porchlight have lost £1m annual funding from Kent County Council, put many of their services at risk. Even more reason to support this event.
If you would like to come, we would love to have your support. Friends, family, colleagues are all invited to come and build a shelter, experience a soup kitchen, hear real life stories from a service user, and sleep under the stars – all while raising sponsorship for a great cause
