So as you might know I am definitely doing the London Marathon and it is only a mere 8 weeks away. The past 6 weeks have flown by and from not being able to run a full 45 minutes I am now running between 10 and 12 miles and finding it quite relaxing when I am doing so, this is something that I really didn’t think I would ever say that but here it is I am saying it for real.

With the miles racking up and my legs feeling like jelly a lot more than I would like to admit but this is all for a great cause. From sitting on my bum and not really wanting to move off the sofa to wanting to run and run and run more, this is something new for me but in the next few weeks we are going to be pushing even more and that pain may get worse.

Yes I am going on about the pain but it’s the motivation of the students and the encouragement of the staff who keep telling me I am doing an amazing job is battling down that wall that hits me in the face every run and pushes me further than I ever thought I could run.

As mentioned before I am now half way through my training and running half a marathon but that is the main thing, it is only half way through, yes that is something to be completely proud of but it is now time to put some serious thought into how long it will take me and whether I am going to walk, run or even crawl across that line.

And with that I am looking forward to doing even more fundraising with a ‘How many sweets are in a jar’, ‘Name the Teddy’ and a nice ‘Leg Waxing’ for me which any one of the students can donate towards and if you lot are feeling extremely cruel you can donate towards a strip to wax the legs that will be running 26 miles 😊.

If you would like to donate any money you can please visit my page HERE

Anything you can donate will go straight back to the school and to the students who go here and experience the education that we give them.
