Dear Member of the Sevenoaks Chamber of Commerce
Careers Fair – 12 March 2025
Request for Volunteers
I would like to introduce myself to you; I am Leonora Hayes, the Careers Leader at Walthamstow Hall, and I am reaching out to invite you to join us in an exciting opportunity to support our students as they begin exploring their future career paths. Our mission is to equip students with empowering experiences that help them thrive in the workplace. By partnering with local businesses, we aim to inspire, motivate, and inform students of the diverse career possibilities available to them right here in their community.
We are hosting a Careers Fair for students in Years 9 – 12 (ages 14 to 17) and their parents on Wednesday, 12 March 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. We are looking for businesses and professionals across a wide variety of fields to host booths or tables where students and parents can learn more about your industry and the roles available within it. Your expertise and insights would be invaluable in showcasing the wealth of local career options and pathways.
This evening will be an opportunity to inspire the next generation of young women to pursue fulfilling careers and to learn directly from those actively working in various professions. The format of the event allows students and parents to walk around, engage with each booth, and ask questions about your industry and organisation.
Ms. Chamberlain, our Headmistress, with the Senior Leadership Team, will host a light buffet supper starting at 5:15 pm. This will provide a relaxed setting for networking with other local business leaders before the event officially begins.
If you are interested in joining us and willing to help with this event, please complete this electronic form or scan the QR code, indicating the career area or industry you would like to represent by 15 January 2025. Alternatively, please email me at LHayes@whall.school if you would like to find out more about our Careers Fair and what is involved.

Yours sincerely
Mrs L Hayes
Careers Leader
