Green Walk & Talk
The Mayor of Sevenoaks, Councillor Libby Ancrum, held a Green Walk and Talk on Saturday 20 July around some of the footpaths of Sevenoaks enjoyed by participants both two and four legged.
It was a chance to discover some of the lesser-known parts of the town and appreciate the verdant backwaters. The walk ended at The Vine where one local resident of 30 years standing declared that they had ventured on footpaths previously unknown to them despite living in the town for many years.
The Mayor said afterwards: ‘Thank you to all who joined me on the walk. It’s always a great pleasure to meet residents who like me enjoy walking in Sevenoaks town as well as showing our town off to visitors.’
