Sevenoaks Town Council has revealed a new daytime slot for its annual Christmas Lights Switch-On event to launch the festive season in Sevenoaks.
This family-friendly outdoor event will take place on Saturday 30 November 2024 in Sevenoaks from 3pm to 5.30pm.
The event will include live entertainment, fairground rides, Father Christmas Grotto, stall holders, food concessions and street entertainment.
The Mayor will switch on the lights in Sevenoaks High Street at 4.30pm.
Traditionally the Lights Switch-On has taken place on the evening of the last Friday of November, but this year an earlier Saturday slot was arranged as more convenient for families.
The High Street and part of Akehurst Lane will be closed from 1.30 -6.30pm.
