TREASURER AND BOARD MEMBER WANTED – CLOSING DATE: 14th FEBRUARY 2024
The Sevenoaks District Chamber of Commerce has two openings on the Board of Directors following the resignation of Jay Finch whose new job takes him closer to his home and away from the local area and Paul Baker’s move from Treasurer to Chair taking effect from 1st April 2024.
Voluntary Board Member roles have always been integral to the Chamber and we have been fortunate to have had the support of some great local business leaders in the past. Becoming a Board member is viewed as valuable personal development.
The positions are for a three-year tenure with one possible extension before a Director is required to stand down from Board duties. You will be required to dedicate a few hours per month to representing the Chamber at our networking meetings and events and be able to attend quarterly Board meetings. We are looking for a wide range of skills to guide, support and challenge our CEO offering strategic direction to ensure the interests of our members are represented on the Board.
