We will look to discuss what is meant by ‘circular economy’ and what a local circular economy could look like when shaped by responsible business decision making. The session will be one hour with the opportunity to interact and ask questions. It will also be recorded for those unable to make it.

Join us for our second webinar of the series as we welcome Tracy Sutton from Root who will give us the tools and knowledge that we need understand and apply circular economy principles in our operations. This conversation will start with a simple explanation about what Circular Economy is and what it really means to small to medium sized businesses. Tracy will be sharing learnings from her career to date, before envisioning what a more circular local economy could look like by walking through key sectors with Christina. They’ll wrap up with key steps attendees can take to create less waste and move toward being a more circular, responsible business.

Tracy Sutton
Tracy has a Degree in Sustainable Design and has dedicated her 24yr career to helping local, national and global businesses grow by using less resources, more responsibly. Her specialities include circular economy and waste, packaging and product design, life cycle analysis, procurement and supply chain and risk mitigation. Clients include Swarovski, CIWM, Costa Coffee, La Prairie, Diageo and Little Moons. Tracy is passionate about driving real change in the community through collaboration.

Christina de Poitiers
Christina has 10+ years of experience helping businesses to grow, implementing innovative and sustainable solutions to tackle some of the world’s biggest problems. Through her own business and as an independent consultant she has worked with startups in the greentech and sustainability space advising on strategy, social and environmental impact and the circular economy delivering projects in the Middle East, Asia and Africa, as well as working with start-ups and businesses in the UK.
She holds an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Imperial College, is a full member of the Association for Project Management (APM), an Affiliate member CIWM a B Corp B Leader and a Climate Change Coach.
