We hope you can join us on February 14th for our next meeting for Westerham-focused businesses. We are delighted to be able to host this meeting at Valence on the Green.
The Valence Community Shop opened to the public on 23rd October 2023.
This was a significant moment in the school’s history that provided a range of opportunities to celebrate success, raise the profile and enhance the work of the school.
Overlooking Westerham Green, the shop is centrally located next to Vicarage Hill car park, with access from both the front and rear. Work was undertaken during the summer to provide fully accessible entrances, as well as a large care suite with hoist, which enables the students to visit the shop for work experience, learning activities and social opportunities.
The shop sells items donated to the school, items produced by the students as part of their school curriculum, and a range of school and non-school-related gifts and refreshments. Local artists and crafters have the opportunity to rent display space and regular activity workshops and community events can be hosted at the shop. Valence School is extremely excited about this new development, which places them at the heart of the local community.
We will be raising money for the Valence School at the meeting with our business card draw.
The meeting is free for Chamber members and guests can join for £15.00.
