Our October meeting is hosted by Sevenoaks Town Council at the prestigious multi-purpose Bat & Ball Centre and sponsored by Chamber business partners Warners Solicitors. 

Louise Brelund from Warners will give an overview of hot topics in employment law.

Louise leads the Employment Law Team.

Louise advises on all aspects of English employment law and related human resource issues, mainly acting for employers but also taking on complex, high-value employee claims work. Louise prides herself on being client-focused, providing clear, pragmatic and strategic commercial advice, and working together to find solutions.

Louise regularly presents webinars and speaks at business conferences. Louise also enjoys providing workforce and management training on a range of employment law topics and bespoke training packages.

Louise qualified as a Solicitor in 2005. Prior to joining Warners, Louise worked for a large regional firm for almost 13 years and, before that, with a niche practice in London. She has worked with specialist sectors, including agriculture, construction, manufacturing, education and healthcare, with clients in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.

We will also hear from our Town Mayor Cllr Claire Shea.

About me: Claire has lived near Bradbourne Lakes since 2009. A professional working on design and project management for housing, hospitals and regeneration projects she has good experience of getting things done. She currently lives with her family – including three children at local schools. Claire believes their future requires sensible, collaborative and inclusive politics. She wants safe streets around our schools, improvements to our parks, and the best sustainable design for the homes we need.
