Chamber Golf Day supporting Samaritans Sevenoaks

We are delighted to announce the return of our Annual Golf Day, hosted at Nizels Golf & Country Club on Tuesday 6 September 2022.

Booking can be made as a Four-Ball or as an Individual Player. Any individual booking will be allocated to a team. All abilities are warmly welcomed.

Tickets can be purchased for £72.50 per player and include:

• 08:00 – Registration – Tea / Coffee & bacon baguettes
• 09:00 – Shotgun start – 18 Holes with the following competitions:
• Nearest the pin par 3, Nearest the pin par 4, Longest Drive, Hole in One and The Yellow Ball.
• 14.30 – Two-course lunch and prize giving

Mulligans can be purchased at registration. 3 per player for £10.00 cash or card. Raffle tickets will also be on sale to raise much-needed funds for Sevenoaks Samaritans.

Sevenoaks Samaritans are committed to deliver the Samaritans vision by making it their mission to always be there for their callers and provide the best support possible.

The Sevenoaks team volunteered a total of 14,000 hours during the past year, and more volunteers are needed to meet demands during these challenging times.  Volunteers currently answer calls and emails covering 24 hour shifts to be there 24/7 for anyone struggling to cope.  The Sevenoaks hub are completely self sufficient and need to raise costs to operate and run the office as well as recruit and train new volunteers. 

• £5 could help us answer a call for help that could save a life.
• £12 could help us train and support a Samaritans volunteer.
• £24 could go towards keeping the phone lines open throughout the year ensuring there is always someone there to listen when a person struggling to cope finds the courage to call. 

All donations raised will help ensure Samaritans volunteers are there for anyone struggling to cope.

10 buggies will be available, and can be booked in advance, subject to availability and weather/course conditions.
