Westerham Wednesdays October 2024

We hope you can join us for our Westerham Wednesday networking meeting at Shampan at The Spinning Wheel on Wednesday 9th October 2024.

Shampan Group are proud to have just celebrated their 35th anniversary, with the first Shampan restaurant opening its doors in 1989. Over the past three decades, they have grown into a renowned group of restaurants, known for offering exceptional dining experiences with a focus on authentic Indian cuisine, served in a contemporary and welcoming environment.

We will be hearing from Sufian Miah, Director of the Shampan Group, who will be speaking about our journey as a group, highlighting their recent 35-year milestone, their dedication to culinary excellence, and the significance of community involvement through their charitable initiatives.

Shampan will also be donating a hamper for the business card draw. The hamper includes a Shampan-branded half-pint glass, keyring bottle opener, pen, chocolates, beers, and a dinner voucher for two at one of their restaurants.

Proceeds of the Business Card Draw will go to The Shampan Foundation, The charity arm of the group. The Shampan Foundation is dedicated to raising aspirations and ambitions by providing access to education and physical education. Their current projects are focused on improving the lives of young people in the Sylhet and Moulvibazar regions of Bangladesh, with initiatives centred around football, education, and youth leadership. They are deeply committed to giving back to these communities, and any contributions to support our work would be greatly appreciated.

Entrance to Chamber Members is free, Chamber guests and non-members are welcome to attend for a £15.00 entrance fee.
